The Wednesday Night Drags at Infineon Raceway, Sept. 10, produced several first-time winners including Healdsburg's Al Feuerstein in the Street class, Santa Clara's Steve Tran in the Sport Street class and Castro Valley's Jeff Benjamin in the High School division.
Adding to the lists of "firsts" was Southern California racer Brenda Cox of Victorville, who drove her Kevin Cox-tuned 2005 GTO Pontiac to her first 11 second run (11.97). The husband/wife team then backed it up with a solid 11.91 second.
