WHAT:
Vintage car racing will take over Infineon Raceway at the Classic Sports Racing Group's (CSRG) 5th annual Charity Challenge. All proceeds from the event will benefit Speedway Children's Charities, the charitable arm of Infineon Raceway. Over the last four years, CSRG has generated more than $367,000 for SCC.

ON-TRACK:
More than 260 vintage race cars will grace the road course over the weekend. Some of the featured cars include early, drum-brake stock cars and fabulous Historic Grand Prix cars from the 1960s-1980s. There will also be more than 200 vintage open-wheel, production and sports-racing cars from the 1930s through 1970s. The groups will feature many well-known marques, including Ferrari, Aston-Martin, Porsche, Shelby 350GT, Corvette, MG and Jaguar.
CIRCUIT:
12-turn, 2.52-miles.
SCHEDULE:
Saturday, Oct. 11: Gates open, 7 a.m.; Practice, 8:30 a.m.; Feature Races, 1 p.m. There will be eight feature races, each spanning 30 minutes.
Sunday, Oct. 12: Gates open, 7 a.m.; Practice, 8:30 a.m.; Feature Races: 1 p.m. There will be nine feature races, each spanning 30 minutes.

Charity Ride-Arounds:
For a $75-$100 donation to Speedway Children's Charities, race fans can take a thrilling, three-lap ride around the world famous road course with one of the competitors in a historic stock car, CanAm sports racer or other vintage car. All passengers must wear close-toed shoes, long pants, long-sleeve shirts and a helmet, which can be provided. You must be 16 years or older to participate in the ride-around. The Charity Ride-Arounds will run on both Saturday and Sunday and are on a first-come basis, so plan to arrive early.
ABOUT SPEEDWAY CHILDREN'S CHARITIES:
The Sonoma Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities distributes money to qualified youth groups in Sonoma County. The chapter has given out more than $2.6 million since 2002 and had a positive impact on more than 150 youth organizations in Sonoma County. There are eight chapters of Speedway Children's Charities nationwide.
ADMISSION:
Adults: $20 weekend pass; Children 10-15 years old: $10 weekend pass. Children nine and under are FREE. Parking is FREE.
