You're invited to celebrate the 5th annual NASCAR Day with Infineon Raceway and Speedway Children's Charities. On NASCAR Day, May 16, fans are encouraged to wear their official NASCAR Day pin, which is available only when you donate $5 to the NASCAR Foundation. A portion of all the proceeds will support youth groups in Sonoma County through Speedway Children's Charities, the charitable arm of Infineon Raceway.
Annually held on the Friday prior to the NASCAR Sprint Cup All-Star Challenge in May, NASCAR Day has become one of the most important and fastest-growing traditions in the NASCAR Family. In 2007, NASCAR Day raised more than $1.6 million through the combined fundraising efforts of NASCAR fans, NASCAR partners and companies worldwide. Country star Garth Brooks has partnered with the NASCAR Foundation to support this worthwhile cause.
