NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace visited Infineon Raceway on Monday to entertain Bank of America clients who were enjoying a day of fun at the Sonoma Valley race track. Wallace, who has competed full-time in the NASCAR Busch Series this year and is also a commentator on SpeedTV, entertained the crowd during lunch with stories of his racing experiences. In addition to stories about racing on track, Wallace told stories about growing up with his brothers and fellow NASCAR drivers, Mike and Rusty Wallace, as well as his friends, including Kyle Petty and Ken Schrader. Bank of America hosted more than 50 guests at Infineon Raceway for "Fantasy Camp," which included a full day of racing activities for their Global Corporate Investment Banking clients. Hosted by the Richard Petty Driving Experience, guests were treated to hot-laps around the 12-turn road course in a stock car, a pit crew challenge and karting. Wallace speaks at all 10 Bank of America Fantasy Camps and is a frequent guest speaker at the Bank of American hospitality tent during NASCAR event weekends. During the lunch break at Infineon Raceway, Wallace offered the participants driving tips to improve their performance: "Always let off the gas and get your angles right when you're heading into those turns," said Wallace. "See, it wasn't always easy for me coming up in auto racing, but you guys get to take a great short cut." Wallace will return to NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series competition in 2007 with Furniture Row® Racing. Wallace has signed a two-year commitment with the team to assist with growth and development of the racing program.
