Infineon Raceway Fire/Safety
Who We Are The Fire/Safety Team provides on-track fire suppression, vehicle extrication and EMS services for all major motor sport events at Infineon Raceway. Those events include the NASCAR Sprint Cup, IndyCar®, Grand American, AMA motorcycles, and NHRA drag racing series. Team members also provide on-track protection for track rental events including the Russell Racing School, Shelby Club, and AFM. In addition to providing services to raceway competitors, the Fire/Safety Team works closely with Sonoma Valley Fire/Med, Sonoma County Fire and REACH to provide off-track fire suppression and EMS assistance to raceway guests in seating areas, campgrounds and parking lots. The Fire/Safety Team has over 100 active members from various fire agencies throughout California, Nevada, Oregon and Utah. Members come from a variety of fire service backgrounds including wild land, municipality and volunteer. The majority of the members are active firefighters, paramedics and EMTs. Retired fire fighters and those wishing to start a career in the fire service are also welcome. 
Mission Statement The Infineon Raceway Fire/Safety Team provides for the safety and welfare of all Infineon Raceway guests through preservation of life, property, and the environment. How to Become a Member We are always looking for new members to join our team. Are you a current or retired firefighter looking for a part-time job that combines your two passions of firefighting and motor sports? If so, this is the job for you. Many Fire/Safety Team Members work only NASCAR, IndyCar® and the major Infineon Raceway events. If you would like to work once or twice a year positions are available. If you would like to work more often, we are always looking for staff to fill weekday and weekend positions for raceway test sessions and track rental events. Minimum Qualifications In order to join the team, you must have at least: - State Certified Firefighter 1
