NASCAR Weekend - What's Happening
NASCAR Night in Concord
Infineon Raceway will invade the East Bay on Thursday, May 8, when it joins forces with Concord Parks and Recreation for "Infineon Raceway Night" at Todos Santos Park. The event will help kick-off the 2008 motor racing season at Infineon Raceway, as well as Concord's annual Farmer's Market and live music schedule. The evening will feature cars on display, giveaways and more.
Race-n-Rock Charity Auction
It's your chance to bid on the opportunity to ride alongside one of the top NASCAR stars during pre-event ceremonies around the twisting road course. You can also bid on one-of-a-kind signed racing memorabilia and much more! All proceeds benefit Speedway Children's Charities.
Pre-Event Festivities
Race fans will want to be in their seats well before the green flag drops on the Toyota/Save Mart 350 to enjoy all of the pre-race entertainment festivities. You'll be treated to pre-race music, the Airshows America's Patriots Jet Team Air Show, fly-bys, driver introductions and much more in anticipation of the main event.
"The Pulse" Entertainment Area
Race fans won't want to miss "The Pulse" - Infineon Raceway's new fan entertainment zone. "The Pulse" will feature a stage packed with entertainment, including live music by the Unauthorized Rolling Stones, Q&A sessions, fan contests and more! Located in the paddock area, behind the main grandstand, be sure to check it out!
Track Walk
Infineon Raceway will open its road course to the public following the Toyota/Save Mart 350 with the raceway's 3rd annual Track Walk. Race fans will be allowed to roam around the 10-turn, 1.99-mile road course beginning approximately 30 minutes after the checkered flag falls on the NASCAR Sprint Cup event. To make it even more fun, the raceway will hide five golden lug nuts around the road course, each of which is redeemable for a valuable prize.
